[Discussion] Which dog breed

I haven't owned a dog in years. I don't have enough time to take care of them, since my cat named "Itachi" has kept me occupied even though he seems to not care at all about me:lol.
That doesn't hold me back though in planning which breed I want to buy when I finally have some family time.
What breed do I really want, that was my question. It lead to me listing a few requirements to deduce the matter to a dog breed that contains all the listed traits.

* Wolf looking dog
* Strong
* Fast
* Protective
* Energetic(needs frequent exercise)
* Able to adapt in a 20 X 15 m back yard
* Low to Moderate grooming(doesn't shed a lot)
* Easily training(not stubborn)
* Not super expensive

Or if the above list all fails then last resort: Rottweiler

These dogs came fitting almost all those listed qualities

From the above list the most fitted all-rounder concluded to be German Shepherd . So I will either choose German Shepherd or Rottweiler...

I have had bulldogs, a German Shepherd, a mutt, and a couple others.

Get a mutt. They are healthier purebreds are usually the result of incest and have more health problems

My favorite breeds are Huskies and that Alaskan Malamute is nice though

I have 3 dogs. 2 Mutts and 1 labrador.

The 2 Mutts are siblings, brother and sister. The female is really small, kinda like a chiwawa with white curled fur and the male is a lot more bigger with brownish curled fur.

Labrador is a normal spanish labrador black colored. If i wanted to have more dogs, i wouldn't. I want a kitty at this point xd

But a Mutt/Mongrel doesn't look badass XD XD , You usually don't even know if it's protective or not since they're a genetic mix bag XD.

I really really wanted to buy a Alaskan Malamute but it is too soft XD it will let them n*ggas get in my house and steal some sh*t while it licks them XD

I have 4 dogs at the moment. my own dog is a dashhound/teckel/weener dog. We got 1 jack russel terrier who is 13 years old. And 2 shelties one of them is named Eevee.

If you want a not to expensive wolf dog I would suggest the husky. wolf dog breeds from real wolfs are very expensive.

kitty used to want me very time but now he's over 8 months he gives 0 f*cks about me XD , he's always out in the neighbourhood looking for females.
AND cats are solitary animals, they live alone. It's not natural to have > 1 even though it's a norm nowadays....

Well the husky is the most energetic one and looks the most like a wolf besides the half wolf itself. If you want a dog against house breaks you should get a german shepherd and train him like a k9 dog. Just one thing. Do you want a dog just to protect you or do you want a dog that you can love and let him be your family? I think it kinda is a dumb excuse to want a dog against house breaks since I've seen (sadly enough) dogs get killed by thieves with rat poison or shooting it. So I don't think you should just want a dog against thieves and stuff.

I think my friend you're confusing a Husky with a Alaskan Malamute.

Husky is more energetic and faster, Malamute looks more like a wolf and is more powerful than a husky.
Husky is used for racing, while malamute was used for heavy load. The two dogs look strikingly similar almost like a Jaguar and a Leopard. Malamute is the bulkier of the 2. While the husky look thinner.

That Caucasian shepherd looks like a monster XD it looks like a Tibetan Mastiff XDXD I doubt it exists in South Africa.


OTT: German Shepherd can guard, is easily trainable and is a loving family dog... bonus: some German Shepherds(sable) look like wolves.
