PS One for me on account of growing up with one. And really, I can't even name more than maybe five 64 games, so I can't speak much on how great it was. But, ps1 pushed Sony to the top, Nintendo flopped compared to Sony and Microsoft ever since the 64.

I like the ps1 fpr metal gear solid 1, but with super smash bros, mario 64 and legend of zelda as well as goldeneye, n64 wins.

I had both. Ps1 had cooler games with slightly better graphics but N64 was more fun to play with 4 controllers and just fun ass games. Plus my N64 still works which I still play every now and then (Smash Bros) and I cant say that about my ps1 so I would pick N64.
