I know there are others, but these seem to be the most unique and/or used.


Shadow clone: ability to gain all experience asap when the clone disperse. useful for spy missions or figuring out the required amount of clones to win.

Crow Clone: ability to use multiple crows to distract foe when clone disperse

Wood clone: ability to withstand extra damage and merge with trees
You must be registered for see images
Lightning clone: ability to release a lightning shock attack when clone disperse.

Sexy Back Clone: ability to use boy-band rep to make girls wet

Haze clone: ability to make fake clones to trick or bait the opponent into attacking(intangible)

I'd say using Haze and Lightning clones at the same time would be most effective. Half of them are intangible distractions, and the other half kill you with lightning when you touch them.

Shadow clones, hiruzen proved that they can be created to withstand more than one solid hit.

It is the most useful and the one with the most applications.

I thought that clone kakashi used against pain was a shadow clone infused with lightning? I'd go with that, if not then i'll go with shadow clones.

wow didn't know it was infused shadow clone. i guess that pretty much makes it the superior version of shadow clones? *crossing fingers that boruto learns this*

Hiruzen has shown to have excellent durability feats at age 69 with his Kage Bunshin as one of his clones was stabbed by Hashirama with 4 Kunai in the chest yet did not disperse until Hiruzen was done with it. He was also able to hold Orochimaru's soul for an hour long despite being stabbed through the chest by the Sword of Kusangi.

Dangerous CQC
Even past his Prime, Hiruzen had showed excellent Close Quarter Combat skills. Moments after sealing parts of his soul away to seal the Edo Hokage and exhausting his remaining Chakra on Kage Bunshin, he was still able to easily disarm Orochimaru from his Sword of Kusangi with great ease and catch him to prepare his sealing Jutsu. He was also able to easily break through the Shinju branches and save Naruto despite Tobirama and Minato unable to get through.
