Neji had his entire role in Part II/ (Shippuden) annihilated.

He was such a badass, with badass fight in Sasuke-chase arc; and had so much development previously... Then he was just reduced to ash, just so Naruto and Hinata can have a touchy moment with his death.

he would've made more impact if he actually died in the fight against that spider guy. (his name escapes me)
