Sakura isn't even that bad. Think about how strong the average ninja is. She healed dozens of people when Pain attacked Konoha and during the war. She took protected that little girl and her grandmother from Pains centipede summoning and she's done lots of other things in the anime as well. During the fight between Zabuza and Kakashi on the Great Naruto Bridge, she protected Tazuna for pretty much the entire fight. If it wasn't for Saukra, the new team 7 (Sakura, Sai, Naruto, and Yamato) wouldn't have had that cool fight between Orochimaru and Naruto on the Tenchi Bridge and they wouldn't have found Orochimarus hideout and found Sasuke for the first time in Shippuden since Sasori told Sakura to meet Orochimaru on the Tenchi Bridge.
