This is a question i have always thought about
Which came first the chicken or the egg?

I personally think the chicken came first but i don't know why
I'd like to hear your answers

If you think religiously (or if you believe in a god) then it would be the chicken.

In a religious point of view, Chicken came first, since God created animals as they are now, not eggs, because eggs need warmth and Shelter to hatch.

In a Scientific View, Egg is years of evolution of Bacteria, so the Egg came first in Science.

IMO it would be the egg; for the chicken to be a chicken it would have to have evolved from its previous ancestor, therefore it would first have to be hatched from the egg of whatever it's ancestor was called before it can continue laying chicken eggs and hatching more chickens.

buh not this thread again. It depends on if you are looking at this question literaly or philisophically. if Literally then yes, it was the egg for the reason stated above.

This question stemed as a discussion over the origin of life and where we all came from and how the universe began. However, people and their need feel smart have taken the literal interpretation of it so they can give a definitive answer.

neither it evolved from a Dinosaur to a Chicken, so the Dinosaur came first, in case you didnt know - Birds were originally Dinosaurs, so Dino's still live among us...as Birds

evolution started as a single cell organism so if we count it all the way back to that lonely lil cell that could, i would say the chicken is boss, egg is an assistant to help rebirth of the chick.
