Which APP is recommended for reading Comics and Manga?

I am thinking of buying an Ipad but I was wondering which are the recommended APPS to read Comics such as Sonic, X-men etc and Manga such as Fullmetal alchemist, Digimon, pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh etc.

If APPs are not needed, which website is recommened to read them?

I see mangabase is good for reading manga online, if its not possible to read Comics online, I don't mind buying them, although I don't know where to buy comics. In my country no shop sells Manga or Comics, that why I never bought manga and comics.
