Soul Eater is probably the only anime that I ever dropped, and on the first too. Lol Does that answer your question?

Soul Eater. Although Soul Eater is more or less a shoenn(?- not sure how to spell it, but the same genre as Naruto). Tokyo Ghoul is more or less a horror type anime, although it can be rather slow in pacing. I would recommend Soul Eater, but Tokyo Ghoul is still pretty interesting to say the least.
