Which ability do you think needs an explanation?

My example: Gaara's sand control. Is it an ability which he got from being Shukaku's jinchuriki or is it some kind of special, unnatural Kekkei Genkei?
Other example: Black lightning. Hell yeah it looks badass, but what makes it stronger than normal lightning?

Nope, his mom's spirit or whatever is what makes the sand move on its own to protect Gaara.
