I feel like most traits can work when balanced out by something else, but I guess I generally dislike characters that are weak-willed, short-tempered and too angsty (this is not a jab at any character in particular since I don't have anyone on my mind atm).

Hmm in all seriousness nothing in a character description has put me off to the character per se. I'll use your "elitist" as an example. I'm not a fan of elitist characters either but I love mads cause he was never anything else but that until the very very end. If I have to pick 3 though I'd say uncondfident, desperate, and illogical(which would be most mains I guess)

I can't say tbh. A character is more than just 3 traits (at least hopefully:lol). So i would have to see the entirety of a character. But to add to topic melodramatic, shallow, and close minded.
