I just finished watching Naruto:The last and man,i gotta say its just plain awesome.The previous Naruto movies don't even compare to it.I was unable to wait for the best print to come out so i watched one of the crappiest camera shot version(The guy who shot it probably had no hands).Anyways,i don't know why people are saying its a 5 or 6 out of 10.I would give it a 9 anyday.
Its a perfect mixture of action,comedy and romance.Sai is the funniest and a lot more badass.His wisecracks keep you entertained throughout the movie.Naruto is well,Naruto...he's at his funny best.Sakura was also pretty good,even better then the anime.Kakashi is shown to be a lot more wiser,though one does miss him in action.The movies did not ignore any characters.All the kages(the living ones) and bee had their fair bit.I did miss Sasuke..he barely had 4 seconds of screen time,no actually his back had 4 seconds of screen time.Even in the wedding he has one minor scene where he is standing in the corner while Ino,Tenten,Sakura and Hinata click a selfie.Honestly, i did not miss him much because there was no way IMO he couldv'e fit into the movie's storyline
The action is pretty cool.From the start of the movie i missed Kurama's presence since he has such a big role in anime presently but it was made up for very well in the end fight.
Toneri is not a villain as great as Madara obviously(All hail Lord Madara).He's more of a creep.Good thing Naruto saved Hinata from him..Toneri would've made an abusive and overpossesive husband.
The end scenes with Naruto,Hinata and their kids is short but it has makes you nearly cry with happiness.The romance element in the movie is superb.I practically felt goosebumps a lot of times.Most of the movie can be actually said to be a rom com,but it does have excellent action from the start.
Most importantly Hinata is also excellent.I think her character design is much better than the anime and the scenes with Hanabi and her were also very funny.
Overall the movie is spectacular.Must watch.
