Where's the logic?

Hello everyone.

I think we can all agree that logic is not as common in the Narutoverse as some people would like. Please share and discuss what you consider to be leaps in logic in the story.

I'll go first, of course.

"I'm going to psychologically torment my brother into hating me and taunting him to kill me. Then he'll return home a hero after I reveal to him how to obtain even more power Uchiha-style. There's no way this carefully thought out plan could ever fail or backfire!" - Itachi Uchiha

"I'm so stealthy, no one could possibly figure out I only joined up with the Akatsuki for my own ambition and...Ooh hey Itachi joined! Now I can get that sharingan I always wanted!" - Orochimaru, standing right next to the only living person with the rinnegan.

"I'm going to kill everyone in the Leaf because my brother sacrificed his life to protect the village! Only this will purify the clan name!" - Sasuke Uchiha

"I've been madly in love with you since I was six!" - Everyone in Konoha

"If I turn myself into a monster, steal everyone's power, raise the dead and wage a war I bet people will like me!" - Kabuto

I agree, I don't want to sound like a hater, because Sasuke is a good character but here is a few examples for him.

Sasuke is completely irrational.

Sasuke logic: "My brother gave his life to save that village. I love him so I'll just destroy everything he died to protect."

"The elders were responsible for destroying my clan, I'll destroy everyone in the leaf."

"All the powerful leaf ninja are in a war, instead of going to the leaf to exact my revenge, I will promise to kill my powerful jinchuuriki former best friend first without the slightest thought about losing and not getting the chance to avenge my clan"

The manga just doesn't make sense sometimes, especially when it comes to Sasuke.

Ok to answer you seriously, I agree with this thread and I've always thought that Itachi torturing his brother was an illogical decision, even if he was just acting.
