Eh he's basically the main man of the new generation rap which is bad for rap overall as new age sucks, however you can't deny he's the main influence for almost all rap now a days.

Skill wise, 4/10 best part about his songs are his beats, flow is his best talent I suppose as his lyrics are god awful.

Career and respectability (in the rap industry nothing else) 8/10

Lol what?

He's the main man for the new generation of rap? Since when lmao...? The main(stream) rappers of this new era are Kendrick/Drake. You can arguably throw J. Cole/A few others in. Lil Wayne though? It's quite understood in the rap community that he fell off Lol.

In his prime, lyrically Lil Wayne was good. These past several years he has been horrible besides a few tracks here and there. I'd say his best skill was impressing people with punchlines while maintaining a deadly flow.

"*beep* real G's move in silence like lasagna..." ~ Lil Wayne

Probably one of his best punchlines that people are still finally understanding.

I guess when I say new gen i'm meaning

2005 to present.

Which Wayne has been king regardless of how bad he is. Everyone was influenced by his beats ....everyone. Everyone uses his flow styles now, Kendrick may be an exception but others such as drake, wale, meek, cole even your man rocky have all mirrored him.

Im not saying main stream i'm saying the most influential

Nah... I can't buy that at all. 2005 rap is completely different from rap now. If you want new gen it's like 2008(9)-present.

Also I don't really like Asap Rocky all that much Lol. I only like a couple tracks from him :)

You don't have to buy it.... because its true Lol its different but if you look at waynes flow and beats you can easily make vast comparisons with that of todays and a few years before.
