To all the people who thought mito helped hashirama lol. People are expecting so much from the uzamaki clan smh

Well the manga did suggest she sealed the Kyuubi after hashirama took it from Madara and during the fight, We saw Hashirama take the kyuubi from under his controll then it Time jumped forwards to the end of the fight.

My question is, Where was the kyuubi during the final moments of the fight, Did he run away?, Did he let madara live after controlling him like a pet out of the kindness of his heart, Or was he sealed by mito.

she was probably around... since the kyubi had to be sealed in her. I doubt he dragged it back to the village

I can imagine hashiramas giant buddha giving the kyuubi piggyback all the way back to the leaf.

I think that Hashirama put Kurama to sleep, right? However, while Hashirama dealt with Madara, Kurama started to wake up and became enraged. Then I Hashirama was fighting the enraged Kyuubi itself.

Then that's where Mito comes.

Yeah it may happen this way

Well it appears as though the Kyubi still holds a grudge against Madara since when he tried summoning him after returning as an Edo, the Kyubi preferred to be controlled by Naruto instead of him. Here's a manga scan v

There's obviously a reason for why he is known as the 9 tailed demon fox because of his aggressive and sinister personality. The Kyubi is not the type to forgive and forget. I believe Mito will be shown becoming the jinchuriki in the next manga chapter. Hashirama will be sealing the Kyubi inside her thanks to his Fuinjutsu.

I remember a flashback that Kurama was having where Hashirama was talking to him saying "You have too much power, I can't let you run free any more!" And he was bloodier than he was after his fight with Madara. So maybe Hashirama's work wasn't done and he had to figure out what to do with the ninetails afterwards.

Perhaps Hashirama wanted to return it to the wild but the ninetails became kinda like those wild predators who, once they lose their fear of humans and start attacking them has to be put down. After what Madara did to him, if I were ninetails I'd want to start targetting and killing all humans too. Hashirama had some trouble, and that's when Mito stepped in, maybe she had the idea to seal it in herself using some of her Uzumaki tech.
