Kishi didn't allow Sasuke to use it for the sake of the plot. Obviously, Sasuke getting stabbed and almost dying will result in Sasuke getting some new power-up.​

Madara can absorb that so no point.

the problem with kishi tha he's just rushing things without elaborating trying to get to final phase in the most stupid way.
he did that first to hashirama when he placed off-panel rod to eliminate him(because there's no way madara can honestly be able to touch hashirama in a real fight thanks to kishi creating a jutsu such 1K hands almost impossible to defeat.)
second to the bijuus and naruto,and bee,without a fight they got trolled,it's not like a FRS wouldn't be able to cut the chains,or they couldn't just blow him with TBB,right?
then tobirama,again with the same off-panel move he did to hashirama,just because he can't write a legit fight in which madara wins or too lazy to make one,he just offpanels it.and honestly how can someone's moves be faster than instant teleportation,but whatever plot needs him down .
then sasuke falls from the sky just to get stabbed with his own sword,it's like he never had susanoo or used it before.
