Honestly, I thought Kishi messed up killing Pain. Imagine a war arc where Pain was the presumed final villain and then we got Obito and Madara?
Well, that was the case for a lot of Shippuden, before Tobi seemingly proved to be bipolar.Honestly, I thought Kishi messed up killing Pain. Imagine a war arc where Pain was the presumed final villain and then we got Obito and Madara?
Madara is charismatic, a masochist, intelligent and a good villain. I never said power does make a character, it's just one of the many ways that he has Obito beat. Charisma makes a good villain, and Obito has zero zip zilch nada.Madara had the flimsiest motivation, one of the least complex characters, and power doesn't make a character anyway. Btw, the Emperor was more villainess, and more powerful than Darth Vader, but Darth was still the better character, and people still cheered when he threw the old bastard down a reactor shaft.

Obito is the least complex, he's just a 30 year old guy chasing the past; couldn't be more shallow.
