why do you guys count the rennigan and the sharingan as separate? the rennigan is just the evolution of the sharingan so technically its still a sharingan.

I agree with this, I also beleive that nagato's usage of Rinnegan was incorrect being that it was never his eyes to begin with, edo madara i believe is using how it was intended with sharingan techniques mixed in. thus why Itachi so ealiy did away with nagato

Highly false. EMS is made for an Uchiha body.. Rinnegan is built for a person with pure Senju body.. meaning the likes of Tobirama/Hashirama/Rikudou.... So no he didn't screw up.. there simply haven't been people to provide the power needed to unlock the full potential of the Rinnegan.

that doesn't makes sense at all how is something that can only be developed in a uchiha be meant for a senju body when we have seem no senju with a rinnengan

Then it would just be called the Ultimate Sharingan instead of the Rinnegan. It has a different name because it is a different eye. It is more powerful for sure, but since it is actually complelely new eye, instead of being simply an upgrade like EMS, the user will need much more time to be adjusted to it. That is why Madara couldn't find a reason to replace his PS. He simply didn't master the Rinnegan because he simply didn't have it for that long.

Nagato? Well, the eyes aren't his. And, quite frankly, Rinnegan eyes aren't suited for anyone lower than God Class( S06P, Madara, Hashi etc).

If Madara had the Rinnegan, in his prime body, for say a decade, he would easily find an excuse to discard his PS in favor of more powerful Rinnegan techs.
