However, no, the Rinnegan is superior to the Sharingan. All if the Sharingan jutsu except Tsukiyomi can simply be countered by merely two Rinnegan move and shared vision makes Tsukiyomi useless. Though in theory, the Sharingan being the prequel to the Rinnegan, means that it would be a superior eye in terms of Sharingan fights, and thus capable of breaking Uchiha Genjutsu if the wielder has both Uchiha and Senju DNA.
