I'm not really certain, but I think it's that episode where Mira made Lucy believe Natsu had a crush on her. Consequently Lucy started interpreting everything Natsu did was as an attempt to declare his love for her (which was, as you can guess, I complete misunderstanding).

In the manga that was just an extra chapter, not specified when it happened, but in the anime they added as a regular episode I think. Don't know the specific episode nor chapter number.
