I'm having difficulty trying to pick up what you're implying. What I'm saying is if there was something in tobi's dimension, he would know. Naruto actually being in the dimension would mean obito has won as far as capturing the kyuubi.

I think this happened in Obito´s dimension. Kakashi had send him there using Kamui and Obito looks pretty surprised seeing him there, so basically he didn´t know.
The thing about touching Naruto is using the Rinnegan path to take his soul i think, not to get him in the alternate dimension.

Ok, and if he's in there, who will let him out? How will he eat? Obito can simply let time fight his battle, no matter how strong naruto is, he still possesses biological functions, about two and a half weeks in Obito's dimension is enough to definitely finish off Naruto. If he is in their then he is trapped

Well yeah you are right indeed. But what i´m saying is that Obito can´t know if that one is the real Naruto. And i also don´t think that Kakashi and Naruto would do such a thing as getting Naruto in Obito´s dimension without a backup plan to get him out of there IF IT IS THE REAL NARUTO(i think he is anyway), probably Kakashi will make Kamui reversed or something like that.
