Where is shukaku? raising thoughts and questions

I was wonderin, the tailed beast have been assembled but where is shukaku? i know madara didnt have a host to put it in, but he couldve used any old body so, what are your thoughts?

he only needed to use 6 of them since he had 6 paths of tobi, and since shikaku was the only one he didnt have the original host body for that was the one chosen to get left out. its his spare.

i know its in gedo mazo, [read my original comment] but couldnt he just use it on another body like pain did with his paths? and why could he use the old host body?
