where is orochimaru

(if I'm right)When Sasuke finished off Orochimaru, Sasuke used his chakra to store him in the curse seal. When Sasuke fought Itachi, the curse seal came off in the form of a snake and took off. Can anybody tell me what happened to Orochimaru after that point?

the snake you are talking about was burned by amterasu and Orochimaru is sealed in the sword not in sasuke

The 'real' Orochimaru is currently stuck forever within Susanoo's legendary sword. Did Itachi actually give that sword as a gift to Sasuke, I can't actually remember. Another spirit of Orochimaru or w/e you want to call it, is currently trying to take over Kabuto and most likely has succeeded by now. Mainly due to Orochimaru's will to be immortality being too great and Kabuto wanting more power like Sasuke but w/o the Sharingan to contain his powers.

If kabuto learns how to control orochimaru's power I think he will be able to kill sasuke, that is just my opinion.

wait isn't orochimaru in Kabutos body when kabuto appeared on sasuke and kabuto had half orochimaru body?

na, Kabuto took some of the remains that sasuke left and injected it into him. when we saw kabuto half orochimaru, the remains was taken over his body...

Orochimaru was sealed in an eternal genjutsu by Susano'o. Kabuto tried to infuse his DNA with himself so that he would become more powerful. Last time we saw Kabuto, Orochimaru had taken over approximately 1/3 of his body. I suspect Oro will be returning really soon.
