I was wondering for a while now: Where is OP more popular in Europe or North America?

If I had to guess, I'd say in US.

Idk I have like no friends that like that show, and I'm in the US. I watched it a little bit, but there are better things to watch, at least for me.

who knows? op only sold 45 million copies outside japan so it's definitely not that popular as in japan where it sold 300 million.

Ehm I'm not really sure how anyone of us is supposed to know that unless that has been researched and as a result there is factual data present.

I live in Belgium, Europe and I know that the concepts of 'manga' and 'anime' are still something for a specific social group and not something that is wide spread. The only anime of the known series that so far has aired, is Naruto and not the most ideal moment of the day. No idea how it is in other European countries, but I get the impression that in countries like France and Spain it's much more integrated in society than here.

Here in Portugal is similar, the most popular anime is DBZ but the only anime it airs is Naruto, sometimes death Note. It has aired OP before but they ended it, don't know why. But yeah anime is not that popular here. It's growing though.

From what I hear Germany and the UK alone make up 45% of One Piece's sales outside of Japan. It's also popular in Spain and France. So I imagine it's more popular in the EU than in the USA

Using google translate on top article title, it says one piece #1 in sales in france.

Also France is the biggest manga market in europe iirc
