I have a theory but no one will agree
Mihawk had a crew but everyone in his crew got killed by big mom pirates In a battle.
Mihawk is the sole survivor of the battle.Bigmom was impressed by mihawk and wanted him to marry one of her daughter's.
Mihawk didn't agree.Bigmom agreed to spare him if he can exchange his life may be 10 or 15 years..Then he joined warlords in order to take revenge on her.
Recently we saw a character who looks exactly like mihawk when he battles someone..I think Randolph is his name..it's the soul of mihawk..
