Nah it's basically Sasuke does what he want and if he find or have a strange feeling he will take care of it.

He is a leaf shinobi born and raised, but lost himself, and found himself outside of the Leaf Village. So it makes sense for him not to be bound there long-term.

Like for instance, the day Sarada becomes Hokage, I can actually see him attending the Inauguration far away with grey hair. Then he disappears again.
