Gaara's Sand comes from his gourd but where does his dads come from?
Whenever he uses it is seems to come from nowhere

I'm fairly sure that you're right. He said something about it being the only thing to counter shukaku's sand so im assuming that his kekkei genkai is the ability to convert normal sand to gold dust

Actually, only the puppet-version of the third was shown to have it inside his body. For all we know, he did it like Gaara's dad: Used magnetism to filter out the gold dust(iron sand in the Third's case) from the air/soil.
