How come every 4 years we see new faces we've never seen or heard about and people talk about these presidential candidates like they're famous and we've known them for a decade or something? I just find it weird how they pop out of nowhere and people vote them as presidents for atleast the next 4 years.

Trump is one of the exceptions. Most people I've never heard of. Granted, I know basically nothing about politics, so maybe my opinion is shite, but I've just never heard of nearly anyone before the election. I imagine someone in the political world would know them though.

Yeah Trump is the only one I knew of and Hillary Clinton makes sense because we know her and she sucked alot of **** to make it this far, but the rest are just new faces who came out of nowhere.
