Where do boogers go when you take them out of your nose?

I think at one point, we all had a booger in our noses and we weren't near a bathroom, so we manually just digged in our noses and took it out and then tossed the booger somewhere in the house, so i was curious where do the boogers go?, because when i throw mine, i don't see them around my house later on, is there a possible booger heaven and booger hell?
