Where did the scroll go?

In the beginning of the series, a scroll was stolen from Konoha headquarters which contained forbidden jutsu in it. Naruto learnt his mass shadowclone technique from the same scroll..where did it go? it has not beenmentioned in the series again..

Iruka gave it back to Sarutobi and than it was probably put back into its secret library place

Even so, why did they not show it later..if the techniques are really forbidden, they could be put to good use now..

Yes it was. When Naruto failed to become genin, and Mizuki told him to get that scroll. That way Naruto would pass.

Agree with u 100% it contain forbidden jutsu.. that may endanger user lyf somehow.. so it can't be teach to any random ninja just to get extra edge in war..

Unless techniques were only taught to few selected shinobi who are in the circle of confidence. Its war, everything should be utilized.
