Naruto used his strongest techniques against Sasuke, that doesn't look like holding back to me. He even went into 1-tail chakra mode and, like I said, used his strongest technique to try and get Sasuke more than once.

If he had the chance i'm sure he wouldn't kill him, just like Sasuke didn't at the end.

He attacked his forehead to prove a point.

Althogh he used some of his strongest tech, he basically did not intend to kill Sasuke while Sasuke wanted to kill him since the start of the fight. Reread my example above in my post, it seems you still dont understand me.

The author doesn't have to say they are equal . He portrays them as equal. Yin and yang, eyes of sage and body etc . The problem is fanboys ignoring this.
