Where are these guys?

Hey NB, so I recently re-read everything in the 4th great shinobi war arc, and I noticed something wierd. There are multiple shinobi that would've played a good role in the war had they been present. But Kishi forgot or simply didn't care to give them a role.

My first example is Ibiki Morino:

This man has unrivaled interrogation skills and doesn't speak easily to enemies. He could have been in the recon unit instead of that one fodder shinobi. He fought against Kisame and subdued the animal path. His skills were definitely needed in the war.

My Second example is Akatsuchi:

Akatsuchi seems to be a Jonin level shinobi that was entrusted with guarding Onoki's life. Also, his earth style and golems couldn't hurt either.

My third example is Tenga and Aoba. I know a lot of you will be like "who the hell is Tenga?"

Tenga is the man that was held accountable for monitoring the 2nd five kage war preperation meeting. I just find it strange Kishi would introduce him before the war, give him a unique look, give him a position in the war and then just throw his character away. I actually sort of took a liking to him. Aoba as well. Does this mean they both died in the Juubi bombing?

In conclusion: I'm just wondering if there is something I missed about these four characters. If you're just going to come here and call them fodders then don't even bother. Thanks for reading

OT: Kishi can't give us the update on everyone, Ibiki is probably with the village, I doubt all the ninja left the village defenseless. I would have like to see more of Akatsuchi though.

I know but there were a lot of chances these guys could have had a cameo but they didn't. I mean, I don't want to sound unappreciative, but you know.

This is an extremely good point, do you think that its simply too much to concentrate on every single character that has had a minor to major role in the manga so far, it seems a little strange to have them left out as the ones you mentioned above played a substantial role in the past. Maybe Kishi San might bring them back in? Certainly an interesting point. Also Kurenai, did she have her child yet - and does that mean that she no longer is required to be on the front line (that makes sense). Also is Hyuuga Hinabi still very young? Surely she would be an asset with the Byakugan and her skills, actually where is Hyuuga Hiashi. Hmm, lots of characters seemingly missing. Maybe they are playing a part but simply don't get screen or paper time?

To answer your guy's questions, yes, Kurenai is most likely with her child. Hanabi is too young, and I recall seeing Hiashi fight alongside Neji before he died.
Yamato is still hanging from that wall to strengthen the zetsus that are left, anko was stripped of her curse mark and was left unconscious in the cave, and when we saw Orochimaru got revived, yes, Kabuto still seemed to be in the loop.
