Konoha 11 ninjas are a lot slower than the ninjas we regularly see nowadays in fights. They are merely chunin/jounin level ninjas unlike the ones we see fighting who are kage level and beyond.

Aren't you surprised that Sasuke and Itachi were able to get to Kabuto in a few chapters whereas it is taking Konoha 11 like 30 chapters? Also Kakashi and Gai got to Naruto and Bee in a few chapters as well IIRC. It just goes to show the speed gap between Konoha 11 shinobi and the current OP ninjas.
