Where are people getting the idea that Obito is forgiven?

He's only been forgiven by Naruto, Minato and Kakashi nobody else. I don't see where people are getting the idea that everybody has forgiven him and are criticizing Kishi for it. Of course he'll die in the end, but not by the hands of Sasuke but by Madara through the use of Rinne Tensei.

I feel like obito has to die somehow. There's no freaking way the ninja aliiance would forgive him after he started the war that has killed all but like 2,000 shinobi in the world. He may be forgiven by the main characters, but he will die eventually

Yeah but I'm wondering why people are thinking that. Of course he will die. If Madara doesn't kill him, he will bound to commit suicide because he can't live with himself.
