When you started to read or watch naruto?

Started watching the anime WAAAAY back when Hiruzen vs Orochimaru was airing on Tunami. Then started reading the manga when it was right in the middle of the pain invasion arc. At that point in time, the anime was only at about Orochimaru vs 4-tailed Naruto, so Im not really sure how big of a time gap I had experienced between sticking only with the anime and going over to the manga.

Edit: So you jumped into the series during the war arc and just spark-noted everything that happened prior? Lol, I can tell you one thing if thats the case: you really missed out on a lot of experiences XD

I missed a lot but it's ok.

Started watching naruto anime in pain arc when 169 episode were published!
Started reading naruto manga when chapter 597 were out . 1 chapter before the revelation of obito . I think it was on episode 270.

The weirdest thing is I watched the anime when it was part 1 but I thought it was boring then I heard about the first half of part 2 and I thought that was boring too.

I started watching Part 1 of Naruto in the Beginning of 2009 and then When Once I finished all the episodes of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden I started reading the Manga near the end of 2009.

After they cancelled it, read the manga from the Itachi pursuit arc to the gokage summit arc, I occasionally go back and watch the anime in order. I read the manga to get ahead but watch the anime for the fights and the emotional moments
