Do people really talk from their heart when they are drunk?

exemples:

When you say to your friend at the bar:
you really are the best friend i have ever had.

or to your girl friend:

I really really love you..

are people more sincere when they are drunk?

Well people say people speak the truth when they're drunk : 'sober thoughts are drunk talks'. I dunno though, when you get with a girl and you're both completely wasted, you're not really thinking straight...

I'm really talkative when I'm sober, but the complete opposite when I'm drunk - I usually don't speak at all or mumble something incomprehensible. Fortunately ,I'm not much of a drinker - I've been really drunk 2 or 3 times in my life.

Well, I'm still a young lad (22) and I go out quite a bit. I'm in a fraternity, so I really don't have that much of a choice =_=

First: Yep, people are more sincere when they are drunk.
They always say a drunkard never lies. Same goes for a child.

Anyways, when I'm pretty smashed, I usually tend to just start random conversations with random people, or when I go out I just tend to dance and smile about everything, and laugh my ass off with everything as well. Then I get home and log in to NB and do stuff I regret =_=.
