He gave the second son longevity, which is what has allowed Naruto to come so far rather than dying in battle, and physical energy which makes up half of Naruto's chakra

Both Naruto and Sasuke uses the gifts of the Sage. If you take away Sasuke's gift than you must take away Naruto's as well. Without his gift from the Sage it seems unlikely Naruto would have the necessary chakra to go into Sage Mode.
Naruto was born with a passive skill whereas Sasuke was born with a much more active one.
However, the Kyuubi was handed to him. The closest thing Sasuke has to this is EMS. Because he took Itachi's eyes for that.
MS Sasuke versus SM Naruto= MS Sasuke wins. MS Sasuke vs KM Naruto = Naruto Wins
Base Sasuke with no sage gifts>Naruto with no sage gifts.

Sage mode Naruto is stornger than MS Sasuke, Zetsu stated that already in the manga.

Naruto still has power without the Nine-Tails, its called Sage Mode

If Sasuke didn't have Sharingan he'd be weaker than Naruto without Kurama.

Kurama is not part of Naruto like the sharingan is part of Sasuke. The fox was sealed into Naruto while the sharingan is part of Sasuke's genetic ability. Taking out Sasuke's sharingan is like taking out Neji's byakugan or Kimimaro's shikotsumyaku.

The only reason he can throw it in the first place is because of his manipulation of natural energy in SM. Recall Fukasaku's explanation about how senjutsu increases the range of your attacks? That's basically what Naruto does when he throws the FRS; he uses natural energy to propel the attack away from his hand and towards his enemy.

This is why his Kawazu Kumite training was needed before he successfully completed the attack during his senjutsu training. He learned how to attack things from a distance during this training.

The whole fight between them would be kind of boring if they wouldn't both constantly grow and get all these advantages, powerups and extras. Sasuke had to get a few powerups, Naruto had to train and get powerups. It's cool how he treats Kurama like a friend and teammate now. He doesn't use him, Kurama has an own personality so I'd rather have Kurama than Susanoo. I also don't think they are comparable.

Anyway, these two characters have to grow otherwise all would be too boring and repeptitive. Noone wants to see two ten year olds yelling at each other.

And who knows if they really will fight? Maybe Kishi just pushed them up like that so they physically and mentally get ready to work together, join forces and make a new world? Who knows if the plan is what we all expect?
