In the morning, the undrawn curtains of the hotel room shared by Naruto and Kakashi let light flood in, waking Naruto up at what the clock said to be five fourty-five a.m.
"Ughhh..." he mumbled to himself. Naruto looked over to his left to see that Kakashi was still asleep. "Look's like sensei's still asleep."
As Naruto said 'sensei', Kakashi moaned and rolled over, making Naruto think that he had heard him for a second. When Kakashi didn't wake up, Naruto silently crept out of his bed, took out a kunai, and began to cut his old jumpsuit.
"I won't be needing this while I'm here," he told himself. "And I'll just wear somthing else when I get back."
At six, when the doors to the pool were to be opened, the night guard was surprised to find the doors ajar. Inside the pool area, a kid with soaking blond hair and an orange swimsuit was swimming around the main pool.
"Hey, kid. How'd you get in here?" the guard called out to Naruto.
"It was open!" Naruto called back. In reality, Naruto's wind affinity had allowed him to push wind chakra into the lock and force it open with pure pressure.
"I don't believe that..." the guard responed.
"Hey, while you're here, can you activate the-"
"Whirlpool? Sure."
"No, not that!" If I wanted a whirlpool, all I have to do is make clones. "The waterslide!"
"You want me to activate the waterslide?"
"YEAH!"
There was a loud scream as a body came down a dark tunnel. The tunnel spirralled downwards, and the scream got louder and louder as the body came closer and closer to the bottom, qucikly picking up speed. The body could be seen by all as it rounded the final corner and then it exited the tunnel.
Naruto skimmed the pool as he came flying out of the waterslide. He turned his body so he fell down into the water face-first. Then another kid came down the slide, except this kid disappeared while he was underwater.
Not sure why I'm using transformed clones, Naruto thought to himself. There's no one around.
But every time one of the clones disappeared, Naruto could feel the adrenaline of rocketing down the slide, and the cool, refreshing feeling of the water as it hits your face.
"That's a feeling I never want to lose," Naruto said to himself. "The feeling of just being a normal kid. The feeling of having fun, without worrying about someone trying to kill you, or having to fight for what you believe in. Here, people just live their lives and have fun. I almost want to stay here. Almost."
Sasuke stretched out and found himself laid out on a couch, every visible part of his body covered in bandages.
"You shouldn't be getting up so early, dear," came a feminine voice.
"Sakura?"
"No, silly." The woman sat on the couch, by Sasuke's feet, and brushed back his hair with her hand.
"...And so, you have the power to dispell evil at your fingertips." the pastor said to Madara, plaing a book in his hands.
"Thank so much for that... What did you call it again? Not a speech, but a..."
"Sermon."
"Yes, thank you for that delightful sermon."
"My Jason gives the best sermons," the woman said from the couch.
"Has our friend woken up?" Jason asked.
"He shouldn't have, juging from what's happened to him," Madara responed.
"Yeah, it sounded like you got into a really bad fight," Jason's wife said.
"Worse than you can imagine," Sasuke replied, rubbing his head.
"But just a little prayer, and you're back on your feet!" Jason said.
"Yes, the power of prayer must've helped his recovery greatly," Madara said. "So much, in fact, that I think he can leave now."
"Don't be silly," Jason's wife said. "It couldn't have been that great."
"Now, Helen, the power of prayer is great, and mighty. Nothing is impossible with out Lord."
"That's right, Helen," Madara added. "Besides, we've overstayed our welcome-"
"Nonsense, you two have just gotten here last night!" Jason exclaimed.
"Yes, but we have something that must be attended to A.S.A.P., so we really must be going."
"Well, if you insist...."
"I do."
"Well then, good luck with whatever you have to do so soon," Jason said to Madara and Sasuke as Sasuke got up off the couch and made his way over to the main door.
"With God on our side, we won't need luck," Madara said, opening the door.
"Now you're getting it! Keep that bible with you, now, Marty."
"Don't worry, I will." Madara and Sasuke stepped out the door, and with one last goodbye, shut it.
"What was that all about?" Sasuke asked.
"I'll explain it to you later. Basically, we spent the night with a family who think's we're good people."
"I see..."
"Let's just go." Madara grabbed Sasuke's wrist and teleported them both far away from the pastor's house.
At seven thirty, there were actual guests at the pool, all watching Naruto and his 'friends' doing amazing tricks in the water. After fifteen minutes of stunts, Naruto stood at the top of the waterslide to make his announcment.
"Alright!" he called down to the people below. "This will be my final trick of the eve- morning!" People 'aww'ed, but Naruto didn't want to leave Kakashi all alone when he got up, if he hadn't already.
"I am going to whip down this slide, and when I come out, my two friends down there will push my up, and I will go flying into the whirlpool hottub, from which two more of my friends will hold me up in a formation for a while. Then, I will relax in the hottub, and later, retire to my room." The crowd cheered, and Naruto redied himself.
"Are you ready?" one of the transformed clones asked Naruto. Naruto made a Wind Style: Rasengan, and nodded towards his two clones who would push him.
"Yep, I'm ready."
His clones pushed him down the slide, and he held the wind jutsu behind him to give hismelf a LOT of propulsion. As Naruto began to see the light at the end of the tunnel, his Rasengan disappaited, and he came flying out of the exit-way. But as he came out, he saw an angry Kakashi standing in the doorway to the pool area.
"Why am I not surprised?" he said loud enough for everyone to hear.
Everyone turned to Kakashi, and missed Naruto's clones missing him, and so he nearly flew smack into the wall at the other end of the pool.
"C'mon, Naruto. We're going."
"I have to change."
"Change quckly, and then we have to find 'them'."
Naruto went up to their hotel room, and changed back into his 'this world' clothes. He took his destroyed jumpsuit, and folded it up, and placed its remains, including the swimsuit, into one of his pockets (it barely fit, due to his pants being skinny jeans). Then he picked up his headband, and Sasuke's scratched headband. He held them, one in either hand, and it brought a tear to his eye. A tear fell down onto Sasuke's headband.
"Sasuke," Naruto said to himself. "I promise to bring you back to the leaf, back home. But first, we have to bring you back to your home..."
Does Kakashi have a plan to track down Madara and Sasuke? Where does Madara plan to go? Will there be any parts that are more emotional than that last part in this chapter (probably not)? Did this chapter have ANY signifigance in the grand scheme of the overall plot? I'll answer the last one right now; no! Or, at least, I'd be surprised if it did!
