In the anime probably not due to them sucking Goku so hard. But if its in the manga then he'll get it seeing as though the mangaka always keep them near equals.

He will for sure, and I bet it will happen in his fight with Toppo. Just like how Kelfa kept powering up when Goku did and vice versa, what makes Vegeta power up is seeing Kakarot doing better than him. That’s his drive and motivation, and he will be serious about learning UI. He won’t stop till he gets it, it’s Vegeta
