When will naruto surpass Hashimara?

yup naruto seems to be on hashiramas level to me.

To me Naruto has surpassed basically everyone, it's just that a lot of his feats go unnoticed either due to his opponent and/or he's the main character, so it's expected.

He's gone toe to toe with Madara, it took all 4 kages to do that and they got beat pretty easily. He killed Kakuzu and Pain, which Kakashi and Tsunade both failed at doing. Then there is all the crazy bijuu and war arc stuff he has done, including the recent chapter which is an unlimited chakra supply.

Edo Madara says that the Five Kage's combined efforts are nothing compared to Hashirama twice.
He also calls Hashirama the ultimate shinobi, whereas he called BM Naruto, Bee, Kakashi and Bee a half-assed band of ninja.

So as of now, Hashirama's still above Naruto.

And Minato's not comparable to Hashirama. He can't take the Five Kage together.

So as of now, Hashirama's still above Naruto.

What if Madara didn't have Hashi's wood dragon? Then how would he counter Naruto? But I guess that also says a lot for Hashirama. Hashirama is almost a fallacy because he has hardly been shown what he can do, just been labeled and praised. Naruto has taken on 6 bijuu (bombs) almost with no problem, not saying Hashi isn't capable of that though. Off topic but, could Madara even counter 6 TBB?

How am I supposed to know? Ask Kishi; for all we know Edo Madara hasn't been trying up to this point.

I don't doubt that, his attitude has been pretty laid back, but he is an Edo after all.

If Naruto could deflect them, I wouldn't doubt that Madara's Perfect Susanoo could do the same.

This I'm not so sure about. Although he did slice mountains like cheese, but 6 TBB is a handful.

Like I said before, when Hashirama is surpassed by Naruto, it is likely that Edo Madara will say so.

I don't ever see him saying such a thing. I believe it would affect his pride too much and tarnish the legendary battle between him and Hashirama as he only praises Hashi, but maybe I'll be proven wrong.

It seems that I am being rather hard headed and possibly over rating Naruto

All naruto lacks is inteligence and experience, give him a couple of years and he'll surpass him

Not only does Naruto lacks intelligence and experience but also skill and more jutsu variety.
All he has is chakra mostly thanks to Kurama.

All he can do is rush at his opponents and try to hit them with one of his sissy rasengans, which
Madara can easily counter by just standing still waiting to be hit by Naruto just so he can easily
use his fan to block the rasengan and knock Naruto back on his ass.

He'll never be on Hashirama's level even with the help of Kurama let alone his own power(or lack thereof).
