He stopped chasing Sasuke when they fought after Danzo's death. He clearly stated that all was settled, that Naruto wouldn't go after Sasuke anymore, but that if Sasuke went to destroy Konoha, then Naruto would stop it and both would die. Now is Sasuke who is going after Naruto to kill him, not the other way around.

when sasuke goes to naruto's battlefield and tells naruto "don't worry i'm here now besides i understand things a lot clearer now" and wipes the floor clean with madara uchiha actually on that note with the new info sasuke will aquire it wouldn't suprise me if he becomes agood boy and tells obito what he knows and obito becomes a good boy which would piss madara off because he believes all uchihas should be haters and cold blooded ruthless killers and madara wouldn't like the idea of being betrayed by uchiha again 1st by his own clan then decades later by sasuke and obito who are also from the uchiha clan.
