I don't think that ever happened in part 2.

that is why Kakashi is hailed as Legend Copy Ninja.
He is the only one who is not tempted by the curse, so his skill is based on a cool head with wise decision/thinking.
Unlike almost all uchiha (except Itachi) are all surrendered to their eye's curse and forgot about who they are...
