Yeah it was good then the war arc happened and it went to shit. Can't wait for the world to finally end.
Because he's already done crazy things even before getting into office...Why can't people wait for Trump to actually get in office before whining about him. He might be an idiot or whatever but why not wait until he's in power and does something before going all crazy on him.
That shouldn't matter,he should be critized on the actions he takes as a president and not his words on media. Any personal hatred of him should be kept to yourselves. He might end up being one of the most successful presidents America has ever had,no one can tell. You can hate Donald Trump as a person all you want but you can't discredit him as a president until he has actually done something worth the hate.Because he's already done crazy things even before getting into office...
Ok, well that same argument can apply to any politician then. That shouldn't matter,he should be critized on the actions he takes as a president and not his words on media. But nothing still has been done. His cabinet picks may look crazy but can end up being strategic genius. Just wait until they start taking actions and screw up before you start criticizing. The thing is if you keep calling Trump an idiot who's going to ruin america when he hasn't done anything yet,if when he start doing something and it turns out to be a success, you'll be the one who looks like an idiot at the end.Ok, well that same argument can apply to any politician then.
Why not give Hillary Clinton a chance then?
So a person's record and actions previous to becoming president means absolutely nothing?
And for the record, I gave him a chance up until he picked a climate denier as the head of the EPA, Ben Carson as the leader of Housing and Urban Development, the Goldman Sachs president and another executive as the Secretary of Treasury and Head of the Budget Committee, and the CEO of Exxon as the Secretary of State.
So chance lost.
I honestly have a hard time understanding how you can give me that type of argument with a straight face? But nothing still has been done. Yes,if the CEO is surrounded and carefully guided and supervised by professional veteran surgeons. The other choice might be a surgeon but how do I know the surgeon is any good at what he does and would be better than the country who would be supervised by professional surgeons. Al i'm saying is it is best staying neutral until you have a solid reason to voice out heavy criticism.I honestly have a hard time understanding how you can give me that type of argument with a straight face?
If you're cooking a recipe for a disaster, the outcome would not be the complete opposite.
If you roll a ball down a hill, the ball won't magically go uphill.
Using your logic; say hypothetically that you needed heart surgery and the options were someone who is an actual surgeon and someone who is a CEO of an oil company, would you be comfortable with the CEO performing the surgery?
Well that's great, but Trump surrounded himself with people that know almost nothing about running a country.Yes,if the CEO is surrounded and carefully guided and supervised by professional veteran surgeons. The other choice might be a surgeon but how do I know the surgeon is any good at what he does and would be better than the country who would be supervised by professional surgeons. I know. But honestly, I really don't want to have to say it. I would gladly be wrong and hope he succeeds.Lightbringer, I get your frustration but I think it would be better if you just saved it for when you can actually say I told you so. You're not gonna enjoy things for a while if you keep focusing on this.
It means and doesn't mean anything. Nothing is absolutely certain. So far,it may seem like trump administration is gonna be a disaster. But it can end up being successful. It isn't good being overly pessimistic. Being critical and doubtful isn't bad but let there be something at least to criticise. Can't you just wait till he's sworn in next year, and implements a policy or takes an action before you start criticising him. He should be criticised on actions and results and not possibilities and predictionsWell that's great, but Trump surrounded himself with people that know almost nothing about running a country.
You're giving me what if's and maybe's. News flash, this is real life. If you fail at leading the country or start a war, there isn't a "reload save" option. There are dire consequences that can result in a lot of people dying.
And considering how we're living in a very very crucial period in history which can ultimately decide the fate of the human race, i.e. climate change, there is no room for error.
The policies that Trump proposes are unrealistic and would hurt way more than help.
The people he put into his cabinet are all billionaires and millionaires with conflicts of interest and no qualifications.
Connect the dots here. The only way this will work out is if a miracle happens and the likeliness of that are practically non-existent.
Sure, I would love to be wrong and I would love Trump to succeed and create a Utopia, but that's fiction and that's almost certainly not going to happen.
And I'll ask you one last time.
Does a person's record and previous actions mean absolutely nothing and do you just accept anything that is put forth in front of you without questioning the most probable outcome?
PS: Even if the CEO is guided by professional surgeons, the chances of the operation performed by an amateur being successful is still pretty much close to zero.
So in your mind, it doesn't matter who is going to be president because they all have a chance to be successful? It means and doesn't mean anything. Nothing is absolutely certain.
