Remember when you first started watching and reading Naruto. Remember some of Team 7 first missions the progression of Naruto, Sasuke, and how when Sakura would out shine them at times would help them train harder. The hard times the good times and even the mushy times were all great(don't like fillers though). Look at how much they have grown up until now I've been watching Naruto since i was 11 so thats about 8 years and it feels like we kinda grew up together, so i just wanted to know what was you favorite part of both time arc. Mine was when Naruto fought for Tsunade and when Jairiya died like a G. And also which arc was your favorite

The pre-time skip was great as most of the fights we saw involves taijutsu & shurikenjutsu (which are two types of jutsu I love to watch). Not only that, one of the best things about that era was that Kishi focused on all of the characters' development. Back then, it was nice to see him giving everyone the same (not the same, but more even) attention. Nowadays, it's just the strong people who are getting the screen-time (e.g. Uchiha, Uzumaki and the Kages). But to answer your question, my favourite arc of the pre-time skip is definitely the chunnin exams arc. That arc was one of the reasons why I continued to watch Naruto when I was young. However, for me Shippuden (the post-time skip) is better than the pre-time skip simply because we got see more awesome villains (especially the Akatsuki). My favourite arc of Shippuden is definitely the invasion of Pain arc and I am sure you know why.
