When The Series Should Have Ended

A lot of people say the series you should've ended after the pain arc, but that would've left a lot of things unsaid and unsolved.

some people say that The series should've ended when NARUTO and SASUKE were fighting Madara, but that wouldn't have felt right, I feel like Obito should at least be involved in the end since he has been all through the series

I think the series should have ended when The Alliance was fighting the Juubi, and Obito and Madara should've gotten taken out together, in some type of "special Kishi plot maneuver". And the Juubi could've gotten a chance to live up to its hype, which it didn't.

Pain arc was the definitive climax of Shipuuden. Everything afterwards drastically started going downhill.

The Pain arc would have left some things left open, so there should have been one final arc right after the Pain arc - one final arc that didnt introduce anything new and would have essentially just been Naruto vs Sasuke and then the resolution of the series. Every character was at their height during the pain arc, and that arc was still what I would call the Golden era of the Naruto story arcs before everything was boiled down to endless powerups and the god awful "chosen one" prophecy bullshit that was introduced during the war arc.

Oh, also in my vision of the ending of the series, Nagato wouldnt revive anyone. Since it would be the climax of the series, it would be a proper time to leave everyone dead from the Pain arc - send them all out in a glorious bang.

So, Pain arc, then Naruto vs Sasuke.

I would say Pain arc but I can't..because if it did end there, I won't have witnessed Gaara's abilities post-Shukaku.
