I may not be Obito's biggest fan, but even I have to admit there is very few people who could even stand a ghost of a chance against him in a one on one fight.

He's a parallel to Naruto though. Obito was basically supposed to be the 'hero' before Naruto. But he fell to the - corny as it sounds - dark side. It shows me that when the hero's turn evil, there just ain't anybody that can stop them, except possibly the next hero.

And if all the talk about the next generation surpassing the last is true. My question to you all is : Just how ungodly powerful would Naruto have been if he turned evil?

Naruto becoming evil means giving in to Kurama's hatred and if that happens there is no Naruto anymore,Kurama can take over his body and free himself.

You make it sound like that if he turns evil he gets a power up :l

Didn't you know? When you turn evil you get power boosts. Or did Obito jumping from a Chunin-level ninja at best to a ninja capable of taking on the likes of Minato in about a year or 2 not prove that point already? Especially when half of that time was him still recovering.

...No it doesn't? Your logic makes no sense.

So basically, some kid with a Bijuu inside is going to turn evil and succumb to hatred and get more powerful?
Kurama would have taken over long ago if such a thing were to happen.

No, it really doesn't. If the seal was never loosened in the first place, then Kurama could not exert any control over Naruto. And I'm pretty damn sure with all the hax the evil characters pull, that he would quite probably subjugate Kurama at some point.

If Naruto turned evil early on, he wouldn't be around Jiraiya to get the seal loosened in the first place. Ergo, the point is mute.

i find it that the most interesting characters are usually the ones that would start out as heroes and would be destined for greatness then they give up to the dark side to save there loved ones by the wrong means like darth vader from star wars
