Spring, Natsume's favorite season of all,its when all the new leaves grow, when life regenerate after the long cold winter of the blank white coat. As dawn shined over, Natsume went out for a walk, he loves the feeling of the long lime grass dancing around his boots throwing water drops from its end to the sides. There was, however, a chill in the air, Natsume didn't enjoy that much but its the best it can get at the beginning of every spring, its like the troubles of growing a baby which is yet, very enjoyable. A cat he calls Neko-sensei Slept on his shoulder with a fat bubble on its nose growing with every snore, it was drunk from yesterday's party, Neko sensei loves to drink saki, a bad habit Natsume never caught on, he hates to drink unlike he's cat.

Natsume: "Neko sensei, you seriously need to stop drinking."

But no answer was given, a suspected result Natsume saw coming. Ignoring the cat and concentrating on the beauty of his location, Natsume felt at peace inside, it gave him a fascinating sensation. Later on as the sun slightly rose, He reached a small hut a nice old lady owns, she greeted him with a big smile on the face, as a farmer, she is always up at that time working. He went to a room and set back for a short while but sadly was disturbed by the cat..

Madara: "NATSUME! Wake up you lazy maggot! You call yourself a ninja, you-?"

Natsume: "Eh, Neko sensei-"

Madara: "I told you to call me by my real name, the name many froze in their place after hearing, I am Madara!"

Natsume looked at his friend cat with a smirk on his face, he was thinking if he should break it to him or not, the fact that people got scared because they thought it was Madara Uchiha, and not Madara the cat who almost nobody know about and even less feared it. It cannot be helped, Natsume was up and getting ready for his day which was special than any other, he is to meet with his old friend, a friend who is still afraid of sharing his surename but he's first name is known by all. Natsume wore his light armor, placed a small bag of weapons on his back and a sword on the side of his wrest then went out to meet his friend under the shining light of the warm sun lighting up the gorgeous sights he encounter.

Keotsu stood, happily, amidst the wheat field where he was too be waiting. He closed his eyes as he faced the rising sun, collecting the first rays of the dawn on his face; their warming touch standing out from the cool morning air. The breeze was chilly, but not uncomfortable, and Keotsu let it blow his long hair about gently for a while, relishing in the pleasant feeling.

Spring had come.

Opening hazel eyes, the swordsman smiled as he brought his hands up, and pulled his long hair back into a ponytail. Wearing khaki colored pants, along with brown boots and a green tunic, Keotsu was well outfitted for the day, and rested his hand gently on Mythos, his sword, on his right hip today in the form of the longsword he so preferred; other than his long brown hair, and lack of a hat, Keotsu very much looked the part of a swordsman of legend from the religion he followed.

Sitting down on one of the benches that lined the road that cut through the field, Keotsu waited patiently.

His opponent had indeed chosen a fine day to spar.

Natsume felt like something was off, something was missing.. but what was it? A question he failed to answer as he walked slowly down road alone. He looked at the water stream which soon became the line he walked by and saw the memory of receiving the massage from Keotsu, the letters and sentences they all led him into the conclusion: He forgot that the meeting was supposed to be at dawn!!

The shock was too overwhelming, Keotsu must have been waiting for hours by now or may be left the meeting spot! Natsume rushed at top speed toward it, he then passed through a graveyard finding himself looking at a blue tomb that caught his eyes, it had a sword on top of it which is assumable to be the dead man's sword, Natsume went and took it in his way and kept running, so focused on reaching his friend he even forgot to place his sword on his back.

Natsume: "There you are!"

He screamed as he's vision caught Keotsu standing in the middle of the rich green grassy field wearing fashionable clothes with nice fitting colors, Keotsu sure wanted to look his best for this meeting. "Happy to meet you pal, how are you?" Said Natsume hoping that Keptsu won't get mad at him for being so late to reply come by.

Looking up as he heard a voice from behind him, Keotsu took his canteen from his lips, swallowing the tea he had just put in his mouth.

"Ah, so you've finally arrived," he said, a slight hint of annoyance in his voice, "I almost left, but decided to stick around. I'm glad I had my book with me," he finished, patting his left breast, where the book was currently resting inside his tunic.

"I am doing well. The pleasant weather has put me in good spirits. And yourself? I see you have a pet, now."

Finding Keotsu busy drinking tea was pretty relieving, he probably didn't feel the time passing by.. Probably. Soon later, he spoke, the tune of his voice made Natsume realize that he was pretty pissed of, he went on about him having a book that entertained him while Natsume in the way and that he was happy thanks to the wonderful weather which Natsume agreed to with a smile as he then followed it, "Oh yes, its pretty good and I'm glad you had a book with you :p. I'm fine, thank you. Yes, you mean sensei, I left him home, or actually he refused to come with me.. You see, I'm not the master of it, its quite the other way around >.<"

"So," Natsume asked as he greet his friend with a one-handed handseal "Shall we?"

"We shall," says Keotsu as he nods. Proceeding to put a distance of about ten paces between himself and his sparring partner, Keotsu rests his left hand on the scabbard of Mythos.

"So, shall we begin the festivities?"

Taking out the blade from the scabbard of the sword he stole from the tomb earlier, Natsume smiles at his friend while holding the sword with the hand and the scabbard with the other.

"We shall indeed."

New battle theme?
Also, since you didn't specify, I'm assuming the sword is in your right hand.
_____________

Grasping Mythos's cool hilt with his right hand, Keotsu pulls, the blade hissing quietly as the Mythril sword drawn from its scabbard. Keeping his left hand on the blade's scabbard, Keotsu holds Mythos in front of him, the tip of the longsword aligned with the bridge of his opponent's nose, which will make it harder to determine just how long the sword actually is. The sword in what is known as "Master Sword" forme, the blade is just long enough that it doesn't need to be wielded with two hands, but that it can be, when used with the two-handed hilt.

Smiling lightly as he casually adjusts his grip by slightly moving his fingers, Keotsu feels....content, holding a European style blade after so long. It calls to mind tactics he had long since abandoned...tactics he might once again embrace.

"So, who has the honor of initiating the duel?" Keotsu asked, taking relish in Mythos's weight in his right hand, the silvery blade glinting in the sunlight.

Watching his friend pulling out his sword with his left arm, Natsume started to get used to the new sword he's holding, solid reliving hilt with a unique cross-guard seemingly made of gold with a torques colored stone in the middle, its blade is about 60cms long with rare stones trimmed it and seems solid enough. That sword has to be the sword of some kind of a legendary swordsmen or a samurai, it looked pretty expensive and felt really light and strong. Its scabbard also had its own collection of lovely colored stones, handling them pretty good.

Natsume waved his new sword in the midair to try it out and felt lucky for taking it along, it did worth the trouble. He then started at Keotsu analyzing his sword and state, feeling self esteem roaring out of his friend, he knew that this won't be easy. Keotsu's sword seemed pretty long, longer than his at least. Natsume didn't care much for their sword differences, he only wanted to have fun. diagonally directing his sword toward the enemy, he held the scabbard with his left arm against his chest as he slowly and genitally advanced toward his friend.

"Are you telling me that you forgot my name?" Asked Natsume in a confused tune as he stared at Keotsu showing all his WTF expressions at the same time.

Deep inside his mind, he kept wondering what he should call this new sword but he left it for the battle to decide.

Keotsu observed his opponent's sword, noticing all the intricate decorations on it. While, it was indeed possible to decorate a sword, adorning it too much caused the sword to sacrifice integrity for appearance, and thus could result in a blade that was more suitable for ceremony than battle. While he would assume the sword his opponent used would be of the same integrity of a regular sword to keep himself from becoming complacent, he knew, in the back of his mind, that the blade his opponent wielded paled in comparison to Mythos, a sword that was a piece of Keotsu's soul made solid - this fact of Mythos's origin, besides Keotsu, was known by only one other person on the face of the planet, his comrade Gintoki Sakata. With Keotsu's tendency for swords - and occasionally showing up with a different mystical sword from time to time - no one ever really bothered to question the swordsman about his powerful weapon.

"I'll admit, I never know quite what to call you. Though I have different monikers, anyone who really knows me either calls me by one of a few nicknames, or, simply, Keotsu; I have always gone by Keotsu. You, however...you don't really have a name that you seem to have preference too. So, forgive me if I dance around saying your actual name in conversation."

As his opponent makes his way closer, Keotsu adjusts his sword ever so slightly, to maintain his stance and keep the tip of his sword pointed between his opponent's eyes. As his opponent approached, Keotsu held his ground.

Once Natsume approach close enough distance of Keotsu, he makes it seems like he's about to attack the freind absorbing his concentration at his upper body, he quickly zigzag to the left delivering two cuts with every stab while having his enemy's sword's blade side away from him, maintaining concentration on keeping save as he proceed with his attack. The cuts are directed at his Keotsu's left arm's biceps and the other directed at his right hand, of course neither of them could possible cause death or fetal conditions since he only means to spar with his enemy and not to kill him for at the end, Keotsu is his friend.
