When Naruto Art Used To Be Good

part 2 manga art is better(it has kishis style more) but part 1 anime was better over all(as anime after pain fight has had questionable animation done, especially war arc)

But different people like different styles of manga drawing.

I actually like the art in pt. 2 much more than the art in pt 1. To me, pt 2 is just more refined

Part 1 focused a lot more on the intensity and power of each panel. Kishi was waaaay more detailed back then and was a master of clothing... he never overlooked a single wrinkle in anybody's clothes.

But now, it's not that he's better or worse, he's just different. He's dropped some of the detail and focused more on the practicality. And sometimes, practicality can be really cool. He's also focused more on getting the whole picture, including the backgrounds of every panel possible (sometimes in part 1 he would just ignore the backgrounds), and make everything look more edgy and epic. And it shows. He's a little less detailed in the clothes though, which is okay with me.

However, I do prefer part 1 art.

The only thing about the artwork that I dislike is that sometimes their feet seem too small and their limbs too thin. Like look at Deidara's right arm here:

Other than that, I really like Kishimoto's overall style, and how his drawings (especially humans) are more realistic than many other manga ones.
