No... Of course not, luffy had to work so hard just to make it usable... If he had the gura gura no mi he'd be able to split islands apart, and he'll have more powerful moves...

One I came up with on the spot is a the shock punch, you punch someone and create an earthquake inside their body and mortally damage their vital organs... Another one is he can have a version of gear 2, create a very small earthquake inside yourself to get your blood flowing...
