[Discussion] When is it best for a Manga to become an Anime

I just learned Food Wars will become an Anime and it has around 100 chapters
Seven Deadly Sins has around 100 chapters
Triage X has around 40 and will become an Anime (Can't wait for that)
Assassination Classroom is becoming an Anime and it has around 100 chapters



I ask whens the best for a Manga to become a Anime
(My guess is 50-100 chapters)
reason is High School Of The Dead has 30 chapters until waiting on Act 31
and everyone in the U.S. is waiting on Season 2. I keep telling people the manga needs to come back and make around the 50th mark to make a season 2.
U need enough material to so the Anime can get enough for the viewers so it won't get hit the manga's mark

Doesn't matter that much as long as there is enough source material. But, generally the higher the better which equals more episodes and no filler which is better, though it will not always have more in one season, but less of a wait. Shorter series/seasons don't often have filler anyway..

Enough manga material to adapt from and high sales/popularity of the manga. I'm still waiting on a Toriko anime which will take a long time and I'm hoping for a YYH remake/special (unlikely).

Depends on the anime's pacing too. Normally 2 chapters to an episode, but it can vary.

When there's enough source material, ideally more than 80-100 chapters worth and Also the series should have a large enough fanbase from the start to support the anime. If the Fanbase is REALLY LARGE (initially), It might be an Ongoing Anime.

I doubt it'll comeback, they f*cked up the canon material at the end. It's a censored pile of sh*t anime, I wouldn't even call it an adaptation. It was that terrible. DBZ kai replaced it.

Uh, one of those, eh..? Why do they feel the need to screw with the source material? Like Deadman Wonderland, they just didn't put in some of the important chars at the start for no reason at all. :| Like, the ****?

I guess because the show was aired in the morning time slot, and the stuff they messed with the source material was a death and a pretty gruesome one at that. I hope someone like Madhouse animates it or StudioBones.

Since most new animes usually go upto only 24-26 episodes and in rare occasions get upto like 38 I suppose 50-75 chapters will do depending on the amount of episodes it's scheduled for.
