When & how did you start watching naruto?

Toonami and The only thing that got me hooked on it was the chunnin exams arc. I really only continued to watch it afterwards for the action and to see Naruto become hokage. Which is something I couldn't care less about seeing now.

Living in Canada I watched it along time ago on YTV. Back then they had all sorts of anime but they soon replaced them with horrible disney shows..

I'm 25 now, when I was 16 I was up late like always and saw in on adult swim, ever since then I've been hooked. Until recent chapters I've felt like I've been trolled into finishing the series, but the last Manga has me saying thank god!!!

I was in 5th or 6th grade (I think 6th) and my friend told me about it.

I heard about it through TV ads and stuff but I never started it. A couple of years ago, I was bored one summer and just started watching it online. I really liked it and got hooked

The only other anime I saw before it which I grew up seeing (though I didn't know they were considered 'anime' at the time) were DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade and YuGiOh.

Pretty much since the beginning...

It was sometime in 2003, and I heard about it online in an anime chat room or forum board. Of course when I first heard about it, it was still just a manga. I started streaming subtitled episodes when there were only about 12 episodes made and they took forever, I think I was still using dial-up at the time. I remember after seeing that first episode I knew this was going to be something I would be following till the end.
